Our 220 year old farmhouse meets the newest safety codes, including fire detection and alarm system, a fire sprinkler system, and handicap accessibility.  It's modern systems include super insulation, 7 zone hot water baseboard heat, whole house ventilation with air-to-air heat exchange, new plumbing and electrical, and wireless broadband Internet access.

A porch on the driveway side, and decks to the south, and east provide guests with comfortable outdoor living.

A "dustpan" dormer was added to the south roof, with large picture windows.  Now the house has passive solar heating as well as great views.  The new windows bring sunlight into the house throughout the day, and the moon and stars at night.  A smaller dormer was added to the north roof, to gain space upstairs and to take advantage of the view in that direction.

The large living room, with gas fireplace, the large dining room, and several outside decks can accommodate both intimate small groups and large gatherings.
